JOHNBIT PRINCIPLES OF RESPONSIBLE GAMING

The Responsible Gaming Principles (hereinafter the «Principles») form part of the Terms and Conditions and set out a body of measures meant to prevent and reduce the possible impact of Players' participation in gambling on this website ( hereinafter the Website), organised by the Website owner and the service provider on it (hereinafter the Bookmaker).  Compliance with these Principles is mandatory both for Players and for the Bookmaker. By using the Website, the Player confirms that he has read the current edition of the Principles, accepts them and undertakes to follow them unconditionally.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

1.   Responsible gaming is one of the pillars on which JohnBit builds and grows its business. The purpose of these Principles is to protect Players from the harmful consequences that gambling is capable of causing.

2.   By using the Website and taking part in the games offered on it, the Player accepts the binding force of the Terms and Conditions and of these Principles and confirms his intention to follow them strictly. In particular — to use the Website only and exclusively for the purpose of taking part in the Games in a personal non-professional capacity, for recreation and entertainment, without treating the games as a source of income, a way to clear debts or a substitute for steady employment, and to play only with funds whose loss he can genuinely afford.

3.     All responsible gaming tools and measures applied by the Bookmaker exist solely for the protection of the Player, and no claim may be brought against the Bookmaker because of their use or in connection with it.

HOW JOHNBIT KEEPS PERSONS UNDER 18 OUT OF GAMBLING. PARENTAL CONTROL

1.     To take part in gambling on the Website, Players are required to confirm that they have reached the legal age for gambling. The Bookmaker takes reasonable measures to check age by electronic and selective methods. The Bookmaker's advertising is not addressed to vulnerable groups of people, in particular persons who have not yet reached the legal age for participation in gambling.

2.     The participation of persons under the legal age is unlawful and is capable of harming them; the Bookmaker asks Players to make sure their account is not used for gambling by such persons, since responsibility for this rests with the account holder, and to observe the safeguards set out below:

·     Do not leave your computer or mobile phone unattended while you are logged in to the Website, do not keep the "Save Password" option switched on, and log out every time you end a session of work on the Website;

·     Do not disclose your payment card details, bank account details or account access details to anyone;

·     For guests and children who may sit down at the same device, create separate profiles and install dedicated parental control software (CYBERsitter (www.cybersitter.com) or Net Nanny (www.netnanny.com) — they will screen out unwanted content and filter sites);

·     If information about a minor user of the Website reaches you, notify the JohnBit Support Service immediately.

CONTROLLING PLAY AND SETTING RESTRICTIONS

1.     While using the Website and playing, the Player is advised to track and check his own play independently. If the Player feels that he has a problem with gambling addiction, he is invited to answer the questions below (the more affirmative answers, the more serious the gambling addiction):

• Do you hide how much time or money you spend on gambling?

• Do you see gambling as a way to escape dull or difficult everyday life?

• Are you drawn to play more because of conflicts, frustration or low mood?

• Do you choose gambling over spending time with family or friends?

• Do you get an urge to win back losses immediately after losing?

• Does your mood stay low for a long time after losing money on gambling?

• Have you ever heard criticism for gambling too much?

• Are you capable of theft, deception or selling something valuable for gambling money?

• Have you ever been left completely without money after play — with nothing to buy food or get home?

• Have you skipped work or university classes because of gambling?

2.     Use the tips below to keep gambling problems under control:

• Decide on a budget for play before you start and do not exceed it;

• Apply self-restraint tools;

• Remember: this is only a game;

• Take regular breaks or alternate gambling with other activities;

• Do not sit down to play if you feel unwell, stressed or anxious;

• Refrain from borrowing money for the sake of play;

• Contact the JohnBit Support Service with any question related to responsible gaming — especially if playing safely is becoming difficult for you, or you need advice or clarification on these Responsible Gaming Principles.

3.     Use the restriction tools set out below:

3.1.  Game limits — this option caps the amount of money you can deposit into your account, stake or spend within 7 days (a zero limit shuts off the ability to play entirely). It also lets you restrict access to particular games or play within a set period of time. A bet exceeding the limit in force cannot be accepted by the Bookmaker.

3.2.  Freeze period (temporary self-exclusion) — this option takes you out of play for a set stretch of time: you will not be able to launch any Game, place any Bets or use other products and services on the Website, including making deposits.

3.3.  Permanent self-exclusion — this option closes your account for good and removes the possibility of opening new accounts in the future; the balance on the account is returned to you provided that all other provisions of the Terms and Conditions are met.

4.     Restriction tools are switched on:

4.1. when the Player himself submits a request under clause 5 of this section of the Principles;

4.2. when the competent authorities or a court demand it, and also in other cases provided for by applicable law;

4.3. at the discretion of the Bookmaker, where there is a suspicion that the Player is not observing the Principles.

5.     To switch on, change or lift any restriction tool, the Player sends a written request to the JohnBit Support Service — under the Terms and Conditions and observing the rules set out below:

Raising or lifting a game limit is possible no earlier than six (6) months from the day the request was filed.

Lowering a limit, on the other hand, works right away — on the very day your request reaches us.

A self-exclusion request also triggers all reasonable measures so that advertising and marketing materials are no longer sent to you.

6.     The Bookmaker may reject any request to lift or soften limits, a freeze period or self-exclusion at its own discretion — and is not obliged to explain the reason to the Player.

Where a Player can turn for help

1.     Although the main goal and priority of the Bookmaker is to help the Player deal with problems of safe gambling, JohnBit stresses that it is not a professional support organisation. The Bookmaker always advises the Player to consult a mental health specialist in order to master gambling addiction, or one of the gambling-harm centres that provide professional support and advice every day. Below is a list of the bodies we recommend you contact:

·  Gambling Anonymous https://www.gamblersanonymous.org.uk/;
